Cuba, the largest country in the Caribbean, is located in the Greater Antilles archipelago. Its capital is Havana. Home to over 11 million people, the island boasts a rich colonial history with Spanish roots and has been a socialist republic since 1959. Spanish is the official language. Visitors are drawn to its stunning beaches, colonial architecture, and the island’s celebrated Cuban rhythms. Thanks to its tropical climate, the most pleasant time to visit is from November to April, when temperatures are milder.
