Senegal
Senegal, located in West Africa along the Atlantic Ocean, shares borders with Mauritania, Mali, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, and The Gambia. The country is a member of the African Union and ECOWAS. Senegal is a republic with a president and a multi-party system, and French is the official language. The climate varies from humid in the south to arid in the north, with temperatures ranging from 25 °C on the coast to 30 °C near the border with Mali. The dry season, from November to May, is the best time to visit.
