Jordan, located in the Middle East, is a country steeped in history and marked by diverse landscapes. Its capital is Amman. Jordan shares borders with Israel, Palestine, Syria, Iraq, and Saudi Arabia, while its coastline along the Red Sea stretches for just 26 km. The country features highlands and deserts, with its highest point at Jabal Umm ad Dami (1,854 m). The climate is predominantly arid, except for the northwestern corners. Spring and autumn are the ideal seasons to visit, when temperatures are pleasantly mild.
