Kopenhagen
Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark, lies on the eastern coast of the island of Zealand and partly on Amager. The city, linked by bridge across the Sound to Malmö, has 653,664 inhabitants, while the Greater Copenhagen conurbation is home to over 1.3 million. Here you will find landmarks such as Slotsholmen, Tivoli and Nyhavn. The maritime climate brings mild winters and cool summers. The best time to visit is spring, when the weather is moderate and there is less rain.
